The Agency for the Promotion of Objective Media Analysis (=VFOM) does not pursue any economic interests and is not geared towards profit-making.

The areas of activity of the Agency for the Promotion of Objective Media Analysis (=VFOM) span the organization, implementation and control of scientific surveys and studies. The distribution of results utilizable for the advertising economy and the “making available of” and distribution of the data from the analyses with the help of the data service, to which all members automatically have access.

The VFOM’s highest priority is the promotion of scientific and objective research in the area of print media, advertising and communication. Revenues from member, sponsor and promoter contributions, as well as from the possible sale of questionnaire pages on a page-to-page basis or sample stockpiling through individual media are directly reinvested in new research projects, generally larger sample, new questionnaire-methodology/ continued development, etc.
